encrusting prose
hot magma spewing forth
colour bites as wordy fireworks ride
the winds of imagination, forcing the senses—
ringing around syllabification and flowing sensually
hot from the depths as molten
magnification, rearranges the word
composing divergent points of view;
spewing and encrusting
spewing and encrusting
and forth again, capturing emulsification of the
alphabetic, phonetics in action
as lavishly becomes infused and thrust out
in longing
to temper its discourse, challenging on its own terms;
solidifying and transforming
solidifying and transforming
the expressions, directed by literary landmarks
that terminology will dictate, settling where it pools
and the hot lava cools the imprinted language
unto the earth…unto the page
…and so the rhetoric goes
creating a new piece of land
by the fury of fiery prose—
wild and untamed in its throes
